CSKA Moscow reportedly interested in signing Lazio striker Vedat Muriqi

Russian club CSKA Moscow are reportedly interested in signing striker from Italian League club Lazio, Vedat Muriqi before the end of the January transfer window.

Quoted from football-italy, Saturday, CSKA Moscow has expressed interest in bringing in Vedat Muriqi and has opened conversations with Lazio some time ago and it is hoped that the agreement can be concluded before the close of the transfer window.

Apart from CSKA Moscow, several English clubs such as Leeds United, West Brom and Hull City are interested in using the services of the player from Kosovo. Lazio is expected to be happy to release Vedat Muriqi in the near future.

Since his arrival at Lazio, Vedat Muriqi has been unable to find a starting place under coach Maurizio Sarri and has made just 14 appearances this season.

Apart from Vedat Muriqi, Lazio are also currently reportedly trying to sell Spanish midfielder Luis Alberto, and it is reported that Inter Milan, AC Milan and Sevilla are ready to buy the player.

It is estimated that the club that wants to bring in Luis Alberto will have to spend up to 30 million euros or around Rp. 487 billion so that Lazio are ready to release the 29-year-old player.

Coach Maurizio Sarri says Lazio are in need of some new players in the January transfer window after the Biancocelesti have only picked up one point from two Serie A games.

Sarri says there are some players who don't fit into the style of play he has adopted in the Lazio team this season.

Some time ago, it was reported that Sarri had a desire to bring in Everton midfielder Allan and Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to his team in the January transfer window.

Sarri and Lazio have the opportunity to sign Allan from Everton on loan until the end of the season, but they will have to sell a few players first because of the Brazilian's high salary.

It is also believed that Kepa Arrizabalaga will try to be loaned by Lazio until the end of the season, but the Spaniard's high salary means the Biancocelesti must determine their next move.

In addition, Lazio is also reportedly looking at the opportunity to bring in midfielder from Inter Milan Matias Vecino whose contract will expire at the end of next season. It is known, Vecino was coached by Sarri when the two were at Empoli.
